| Can... almost... reach... hare smell... |
A favorite activity while out walking has always been flushing pheasants, he'll work the ditches and bushes until he gets rewarded by a big noisy bird flying up right in front of his nose. However, that's been as far as his interest goes.
But lately, he gets very excited when we come across hares fleeing over the fields - or even better, deer!

He'll pull and whine and focus, becoming very excited. Not just at the sight of fleeing animals, but at the scent - he knows what's coming.
I can understand his prey drive, he wants to chase, naturally. But we really didn't need another thing making Monster excited and unfocused...
